Buying Coffee First, make sure you buy fresh coffee. You should try to buy your coffee from a local roaster who respects and supplies good quality coffee. Freshness is so important. Coffee should be bought within one week of roasting times. We supply all of our accounts coffee on a weekly basis so the coffee is always fresh. There are many roasters who follow this regime. The first week after roasting, good coffee is fit for the king. The second week it is fit for the court. The third week it is fit for the population. The fourth week it is fit for the pigs. The fifth week it just gives fits. This is a story that is common in the coffee industry, which illustrates the importance of freshness in coffee. |
