Storing Coffee

Finally, store your coffee carefully. Freezing is o.k. If you take care to not allow water to get on the coffee. When you take a glass out of the freezer it immediately has ice on it from water in the atmosphere, so will your coffee. If you freeze coffee, minimize the time it is exposed to the air. The only reason you have to freeze coffee is if you cannot get a regular supply of good coffee. Freezing will prolong its drink ability for a time, if the coffee is kept very dry.It is better to buy fresh coffee and keep it in a dry dark place at room temperature. A clean canning jar is a good container for coffee.
